Daniel Johnson

Lead Pastor

Daniel has spent most of his life at Gracepoint. Growing up in this church, he knows first hand the benefits of the ministries here. Over the years he has been involved in the children's, youth and college and career ministries. He was also part of the first graduating class of Cornerstone Christian School.

In 1996 he completed a Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission. It was at that time, on a mission trip to Japan, that God confirmed a call on his life to full-time ministry. He graduated from Vanguard University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion.

After graduation he married his high school sweetheart, Sadie, who was also a 'YWAMer'. Together they were involved in missions work to Mexico and Honduras. Daniel served as a youth pastor for three years in San Francisco before becoming a part of the Pastoral staff of Gracepoint in November 2005. He is the proud father of three children: Samantha, Daniel and Elijah.

Daniel is currently doing coursework towards a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degree from Reformed Theological Seminary.
